Calorex Heat/Cool & Chiller units are a range of units
specifically developed for heating and cooling pools where
ambient temperatures may fluctuate between 10ºC and
55ºC. Not to be confused with converted condensing
units or modified heat pumps originally designed for a different
purpose, every aspect of Calorex heat/cool units is designed
to give optimum performance and reliability even in the
toughest climates.
Available as
heat/cool or cooling-only and in sizes to meet even the
biggest pool needs, Calorex heat/cool units feature:
- A refrigeration circuit designed from first principles
to reliably, efficiently operate in ambient temperatures
from 10ºC to 55ºC
- Automatic thermostatically controlled changeover from
heat to cool and visa versa - the only pool heat/cool
units capable of this
- Polyester coated Evaporator for protection against
harsh environments
- Seamless, marine grade Cupro-Nickel heat exchanger
- Comprehensive protection circuit with visual indication
of machine status
34 Range heat/cool
models feature:
- Capacities from 8 - 70kW
- Centrifugal fan with choice of orientation and pressure
capability to allow installation in plant rooms - the
only pool heat/cool units that can be installed in this
way
- Plastisol coated, insulated, weatherproof cabinet
Pro-Pac heat/cool
models feature:
- Capacities from 43 - 140kW
- Axial top outlet fan(s) for external installation
- Painted, weatherproof cabinet
Calorex
water chillers
Designed to the
same high standards as heat/cool units, Calorex 34 Range
water chillers are designed for cooling either potable or
pool water where ambient temperatures may vary from 10ºC
to 55ºC.
Produced with
a weatherproof cabinet the units are completely packaged
and with centrifugal fans they are ideally suited to rooftop
or plant room siting.
