CALOREX HEAT PUMPS is stepping up production of its comprehensive range of Porta-Dry mobile dehumidifiers as hundreds of homes, schools and businesses in England, Scotland and Wales continue to be affected by devastating floods.
Pioneered some 20 years ago, portable dehumidifiers and heaters provide an efficient, practical role in drying out flooded properties.
The Porta Dry building dryers are refrigerant dehumidifiers that can be controlled to provide desired humidity and temperatures. They re-circulate the building space air, rather than continuously replace it and in doing so remove moisture from it.
What is more, building dryers will generally dry materials four times more quickly than natural drying and will consume four times less energy than heat and vent methods, while ensuring materials are dried thoroughly, regardless of outside conditions.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
The high performance mobile Calorex Porta-Dry range offers both rapid drying and humidity control. Fully mobile, the robust Porta-Dry is fitted with sturdy site wheels and handles and is designed to allow storage or transport upright or flat.
Calorex Porta-Dry dehumidifiers are available in three sizes, Porta Dry 150, Porta Dry 300 and Porta Dry 600, and can be supplied in either 110v, 220v or dual voltage to meet site requirements.
Calorex Porta-Cal mobile electric heaters and Porta-Air fans complete the range of portable equipment particularly suitable for emergency use.
Offering immediate operation after positioning, the Porta-Dry has a wide temperature range from 0 to 40 deg C with a high efficiency rotary compressor and a high level condensate drain.
Options include a built-in humidistat adjustable in range 20-80% and a condensate pump kit with full level control and 30M pumping distance.
