The AW 250/450 SC range consists of compact wall mounted air cooling units designed for use in beer cellars, produce storage, kitchens and small hot water plant rooms, ie. Heat recovery for space cooling or heat recovery for hot water production. These machines function by providing a cooled air stream to the area that requires cooling. The energy collected from the area is then upgraded through the heat pump cycle and used to preheat a mains hot water supply to the premises. There are two major requirements for a heat recovery system of this type to be effective.
1. a cooling demand to an area, and
2. a hot water demand to the building as a whole.
The control system is based on cooling the space, but cooling will stop should no further water heating be possible, unless a remote heat rejection unit is added.
The range consists of 2 wall mounted models, combining air cooling and water heating in a single cabinet, complete with the following features:

- Environmentally friendly R134A refrigerant
